The Emporia Paloma is a dream summer maxi dress, featuring a halterneck and a dramatic wide a-line skirt; cinched at the waist with a simple belt, Paloma can go from a day at the beach to full on glamour at the bar with a change of accessories. Large cutaway patch pockets mean you’ve always got somewhere to put your phone or your sun cream, and a simple tie at the back neck means there are no tricky closures.

Try it in cool linen for hot summer days or go for a classic look with chambray - Paloma works brilliantly in fabrics with a bit of body like African wax or broderie anglaise, but can equally give you a swishy statement in a more drapey fabric if you interface the pockets or leave them off.

This pattern also comes with the option of making it as a skirt. Paloma is an easy and quick make suitable for advanced beginners.

All items are a standard postage cost of £3.50 for UK delivery. European prices at £15.00. Click and collect is available for local customers by arrangement.

Gorgeous easy to make dress

I am still reasonably new to sewing but found the pattern and the instructions easy to use, I made a mock up first from an old duvet cover and was able to easily adjust the skirt length as I didn’t have enough fabric for the maxi length. It ended up looking great and I will be wearing it to a party soon. I’ve also made one with the correct amount of fabric and I love it., perfect summer dress.

The ultimate swishy dress!

Such a gorgeous dress. I love the adjustable halter neckline and the flared maxi skirt. It's a beautiful design. As always, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow.
