We are very proud of our collaboration with Ernest Wright to bring you our gorgeous scissor themed jewellery! Ernest Wright Ltd is renowned heritage scissor making company based in Sheffield, where they have employed highly skilled craftspeople to work with Sheffield steel ever since 1902. Their scissors and sewing shears have a global reputation for supreme quality, and the brand is a huge part of sewing history. We are delighted to work with Ernest Wright in order to produce these beautiful miniature scissor themed brooches, based on the design of some of their actual dressmaking shears.
The Ernest Wright for Emporia scissors brooch is made from pewter, measures 4.5cm long and 1.5mm at the handle, and features on the words ERNEST WRIGHT stamped on the reverse. Please keep your scissor brooch away from water, perfume, suncream or any other lotions and remove when participating in sports or activities that may cause you to sweat.
Ideal as a little treat for yourself or as a gift for a sewing friend, this classic design is back in stock just in time for Christmas.
