Super soft plain double gauze in black is perfect for all kinds of summer sewing projects for both adults and children. Made from two light layers of a fine woven cotton, double gauze works well for patterns that require a woven fabric but that have a little bit of give as it is such a soft, pliable material. Shirts, blouses, trousers, skirts and dresses are all ideal to make from this material; it also works really well for babywear for hot climates and high temperatures as it is soft and breathable.
